There’s just something about summertime that makes me crave icy cold treats nonstop especially around the Fourth of July. Pool days, BBQs, lake weekends, fireworks… give me all of it. But if I can make something that tastes like a summer dessert and helps fuel my body at the same time? Even better.

Lately I’ve been having way too much fun creating MTN OPS recipes, from my Ignite Lite Dirty Daiquiri to my go-to green smoothie packed with nutrients, and this Ninja Creami Italian Ice has officially become one of my favorite summer staples.

And honestly… the bright strawberry flavor makes it feel perfect for a red, white & blue holiday weekend treat.

HEALTHY NINJA CREAMI ITALIAN ICE RECIPE

This recipe seriously tastes like something you’d grab on a hot July afternoon after being outside all day — fruity, refreshing, icy, and sweet — except it’s packed with ingredients that actually support your body too.

The Strawberry Ignite Lite flavor is SO good for summer and gives this Italian ice the perfect fresh berry flavor. It’s light, refreshing, and honestly feels made for backyard BBQs, lake days, and post-workout cooldowns.

One of my favorite things about this recipe is how customizable it is. You can add collagen or creatine for extra support and it still tastes like a total treat.

You could even toss in frozen spinach or avocado for some hidden nutrients and I promise you won’t taste it. Or honestly… adding a scoop of my Eva Super Greens would be PERFECT here too since it’s also strawberry flavored. More nutrients, even more flavor, and still feels like a dessert.

If you’re looking for an easy cold treat for summer weekends, holiday gatherings, or a healthier Fourth of July dessert option, I filmed the full step-by-step recipe so you can follow along.

YOU’LL NEED:
Ingredients
  • 1 scoop MTN OPS Ignite Lite Strawberry flavor
  • 1 scoop MTN OPS Collagen and/or Creatine (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon local honey
  • 4–5 fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups water in your Creami container

DIRECTIONS
1. Blend Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.

I usually use my favorite frother or blender for the smoothest consistency, but honestly, you can even leave the strawberries whole because the Ninja Creami blends everything perfectly after freezing.

If you’re sneaking in spinach or greens, definitely blend first!

2. Freeze Overnight

Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami container and freeze overnight.

3. Spin Until Creamy

When you’re ready to enjoy, remove it from the freezer and add a tiny splash of water before blending in the Ninja Creami until smooth and creamy.

Top with fresh strawberries, an extra drizzle of honey, or even blueberries if you want to lean fully into the red, white & blue summer vibe.
