FAMILY: From Our Home to the World

MTN OPS Core Value: “Because we believe family is the fundamental unit of community, we desire the type of environment that promotes healthy families.”

For me, it all started with family.

Not a business plan. Not a brand. Not even a big vision of what MTN OPS would become. Just a young husband with a deep desire to provide for his family. To build something that could support their health, their future, and their stability.

What I didn’t fully understand at the time was that God often takes something that begins in the walls of a home and turns it into something that can bless homes all over the world.

What started as a need to care for my own family led to discovering products that improved our health. That pursuit turned into a business. That business turned into a community. And that community has now allowed us to give back by buying, packing, and providing food for families who are in need.

That’s the full circle.

Family is not meant to be contained; it’s meant to expand.

There’s a quote I’ve always loved from Joseph Smith:
“A man filled with the love of God is not content with blessing his family alone, but ranges through the whole world anxious to bless the whole human race.”

That idea has shaped how I see everything we do.

Yes, our first responsibility is to our family. That is where love is learned, where values are taught, and where strength is built. But if that love is real, if it truly comes from God, it doesn’t stop at our front door.

It reaches. It looks outward. It asks, “Who else needs help? Who else can we lift?”

At MTN OPS, we’ve seen this play out in real time. What began as a mission to support individual health has grown into something much bigger, a movement of people who care not just about their own performance, but about the well-being of others.

Every order, every effort, every act of service becomes part of something larger. It becomes a way to bless another family.

That’s what makes this so meaningful.

This July, as we focus on family, I want to invite you to think about your own “full circle.”

Start at home. Strengthen your family. Be present. Lead with love.

But don’t stop there.

Look for ways to extend that same care outward. Serve a neighbor. Support someone quietly. Be aware of those who may be struggling.

Because in the end, we’re all part of God’s family.

And the greatest way we can show our love for Him is by how we love each other.
