Ox: A Classic Formula with Cutting-Edge Support
Ox has been a fan favorite for quite some time. But with new research comes the opportunity for innovation.
Most of the time, research will only focus on a singular ingredient for a singular response, think creatine ingestion and strength performance. A simple one-to-one examination.
But something different emerged in our most recent venture into the scientific literature. Two research articles out of 2022 examined the effects of a combination of ingredients: Punica granatum fruit rind and Theobroma cocoa seed (AKA pomegranate and cocoa bean) extracts.
The first study performed in younger men demonstrated the combination’s ability to promote healthy free testosterone concentrations. These results were quickly supported by a second study, performed in a slightly older group of men, which showed that supplementation not only promoted free testosterone concentrations but helped support total testosterone as well.
This kind of validation makes its inclusion non-negotiable.
This addition only adds to classic ingredients such as zinc, Tongkat Ali, and ashwagandha, commonly associated with testosterone support.
SlumberJack: More Ingredients, More Mechanisms
When comparing the ingredient lists, one is blatantly obvious. SlumberJack has more. There is no question, SlumberJack is a more potent formula.
Most notably, there is double the amount of the pomegranate and cocoa bean extract blend. Not only does this amount carry the same benefits as the doses found in OX, but the study performed in young men demonstrated that this dose was also able to promote total testosterone concentrations as well.

Conversely, lack of sleep crushes testosterone. A 2011 study demonstrated that consistent sleep deprivation resulted in a significant decrease in testosterone levels, 10 to 15%.

A 2022 review of the scientific literature rebuts this notion and notes “a lack of significant scientific evidence that this dependence can develop.”
