AUGUST 2022 CHALLENGE WINNER

Hello, my name is Tim. I decided to join the Conquer Fitness $100K Challenge with the main goal of being to lose about 10 pounds in 30 days and to get back on track to living a healthier lifestyle. The first few days were hard to find the motivation. Some days along the way I felt tired from work and the first step out of the door toward a workout was the hardest one to take but the feeling I got of accomplishing a workout and how good I would feel after a workout made it easier and easier to continue to show up and put in the work.

Big thank you to my wife, Shanna. She is my biggest supporter and motivator. She always pushed me if I needed it. Additionally, I found motivation through MTN OPS. From different workouts to try, to seeing so many people who have also entered this challenge and completed it through their Conquer More Facebook Group. I took advantage of several different MTN OPS supplements. I took Men's MULTI-V and OX daily and I used YETI, IGNITE, ENDUROAMMO and MAGNUM in some combination every day over the past 30 days.

Two takeaways that I learned during this challenge: The first, in the past I would have let a cheat meal or a celebration ruin my progress for several days. I found a way to mentally overcome this and get right back to my routine the very next day, something that I normally would have struggled with. The second, MOVE MORE! It is such an easy concept but can also be a struggle some days. I set a step goal and made sure that goal was met every day. Even on the few days that I was unable to get to the gym or do a workout at home.

I didn’t expect to get the results that I did in just 30 days and it was hard to notice them at first, especially in the first 3 weeks. So if you are someone who started this challenge my advice is to see it through. I ended up losing a total of 21.6 pounds, went from a tight fitting size 36 waist to a comfortable fitting 33, and gained strength and endurance. I have now set new goals for the next 30 days and can’t wait to see what progress I make.
