Giveaway Rules

Eligibility to Enter

The MTN OPS x Sportsman’s Warehouse Elk Hunt Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is open to legal residents of the United States, including all 50 states, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives, and affiliates of MTN OPS, Sportsman’s Warehouse, and all participating partner brands, as well as their immediate family members and individuals residing in the same household, are not eligible to participate.

The Promotion is void where prohibited by law. 

Promotion Period

The giveaway begins on July 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM MST and ends on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST (the “Promotion Period”). 

How to Enter

1. Purchase Entry

Participants may enter by purchasing eligible MTN OPS products from Sportsman’s Warehouse locations or online at Sportsmans.com during the Promotion Period.

To complete entry, participants must submit an official giveaway entry through the designated MTN OPS giveaway landing page, including:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Proof of Purchase (receipt upload required)

There is no limit to the number of eligible purchase-based entries submitted during the Promotion Period. 

2. Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

To enter without making a purchase, participants may mail a handwritten 3” x 5” card including:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Mailing Address

All mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2026 and received no later than October 7, 2026.

Limit one (1) mail-in entry per envelope. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. 

Winner Selection

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, including qualifying mail-in entries. Odds of winning will vary depending on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

The drawing will be conducted by MTN OPS after October 7, 2026, once all eligible mail-in entries have been received and verified.

The selected winner will be notified via email and/or phone. If the selected winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours, an alternate winner may be selected. This process may continue until the prize is officially claimed.

To request a winners list, email support@mtnops.com with subject line ‘MTN OPS x Sportsman’s Warehouse Elk Hunt Giveaway Winner List Request’ within 90 days following the Promotion Period.

The decisions of MTN OPS regarding the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of the winner are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

Giveaway Prize

Grand Prize

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a guided rifle elk hunt experience for one (1) hunter at Strawberry Ridge during the Fall 2027 hunting season, along with the gear and equipment packages described below.

The Grand Prize includes:

One (1) guided rifle elk hunt experience for the winner, including standard outfitted hunting accommodations and guide services as determined by the outfitter (ARV: $20,000)

Round-trip travel accommodations for the winner to attend the guided elk hunt experience, as determined and coordinated by the Administrator (ARV: $1,000)

One (1) Weatherby Range XP 2.0 rifle, 7mm PRC (ARV: $1,279)

One (1) MTN OPS Gift Card (ARV: $1,000)

One (1) Kings Camo XKG 7-Piece Package (ARV: $1,144.93), including:

Total Approximate Retail Value

Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize: approximately $30,227.45.

Additional Prize Terms

Winner is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required hunting licenses, tags, permits, firearms documentation, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, unless otherwise expressly provided by the Administrator.

Any expenses not specifically stated as included—including but not limited to personal gear, ammunition, meals outside outfitter provisions, gratuities, transportation, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages, travel insurance, and incidental expenses—are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Final prize details, product models, and approximate retail values may be finalized prior to winner selection and are subject to change. Administrator reserves the right to substitute any prize or prize component with one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.

No substitutions, cash redemptions, or prize transfers are permitted except at the sole discretion of MTN OPS.


Administrator

MTN OPS (“Administrator”) is solely responsible for the administration, operation, and execution of this Promotion. The Administrator’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

By participating in this Promotion, entrants acknowledge and agree that all inquiries or disputes related to the Promotion must be directed solely to MTN OPS. 


General Rules

By entering this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of the Administrator, which are final and binding. All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply.

The prize includes only the items expressly listed in these Terms & Conditions. Any additional expenses not specifically stated—including but not limited to licenses, tags, transportation, lodging upgrades, meals, gratuities, personal gear, and incidental expenses—are the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise specified by MTN OPS.

The winner may be required to provide proof of identity, age, and eligibility as a condition of receiving the prize.

MTN OPS reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion.

Any attempt to tamper with or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may result in disqualification and potential legal action to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Liability Release

By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MTN OPS, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Strawberry Ridge Hunts, participating prize partners, and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors, and affiliates from and against any liability, injury, loss, claim, or damage arising out of or related to participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded.

Taxes & Prize Responsibilities

All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise required by law.

The winner may be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 and may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the total approximate retail value of the prize package.

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

This Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Participants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, for any legal proceedings arising out of or related to the Promotion.

Privacy

All personal information collected during the Promotion will be used in accordance with the MTN OPS Privacy Policy.

By entering, participants agree that their information may be used by MTN OPS and Sportsman’s Warehouse for the administration of the Promotion, winner fulfillment, marketing communications, email and SMS campaigns, and other promotional purposes where permitted by law.

Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Sportsman’s Warehouse is a promotional partner of this giveaway. All participating prize brands are responsible only for the products or services they provide in connection with the Promotion and are not responsible for the administration or execution of the Promotion unless otherwise stated.
